On Tuesday Mrs Fegan and Year4 & 5 had a visit from Njal Thorfinnson, trader, farmer, seafarer and viking from the company Viking Visits.
Together we travelled to the year 1020 and we then looked back at the influence of our lands contact, raids, trading, settlement and battles.
As you can see from our pictures the children had a wonderful day with Njal and enjoyed some magical 'hands on' learning about the Vikings.
