As part of our World Book celebrations Year 5, 6, and 7 pupils visited Smyth's Book Shop in Newcastle. The boys and girls had a great time browsing through the large selection of books on sale and were able to use their World Book Day tokens to buy books of their choice.
We then had a special treat as everyone received a chocolate or iced doughnut and a drink and then we had some time in the play park by the sea front. Luckily the rain stayed away until we were back on the bus.
