This week, we were back outdoors looking at the birds in the school garden at Drumnadonnell Primary School. We used binoculars and monoculars to see right up into the trees and identify the birds; then using tally marks, we recorded our findings. Back in the class, we completed bird puzzles and learnt about each bird, which means that when we are out and in our own gardens, we can recognise robins, chaffinches, magpies and wood pigeons along with many others. We completed our session with a lovely story called "Bouncy Blackbird".
