Today’s investigation involved looking at how animals use blubber to stay warm in the cold. We had to put one hand in the ice bucket with nothing on it and the other was covered in lard. Then we had to see how long we could keep our hand in the icy, cold water. We decided that having the extra layer of fat was definitely better for keeping warm!
