Yesterday, the children in our class became detectives as we explored the size of the dinosaurs in our class. We discussed the importance of making a sensible estimation, then looked at how to accurately measure each dinosaur to check how close we were to the exact length. Using a mixture of standard and non-standard units they were able to complete their investigation and then order the dinosaurs from shortest to longest. Fantastic work!
