One of our wonderful Year 7 pupils, Dàire wrote this prayer for this very challenging time. We think it is just beautiful and are very proud of her.
Prayer for Covid-19 Almighty God help us to keep this Covid-19 under control. Give our leaders strength to make to the right decisions. Help people decide to stay at home. Remind people to wash their hands properly. May you comfort families to keep their distance from elderly and high-risk family members. God as more people get sick give health care workers the energy to work long hours at risk. May they have the right protective items to keep them safe. Help us to have more testing to keep this virus under control. Inspire research doctors to develop a vaccine against this awful virus. We pray for all the other front-line workers keeping our country safe. We pray for people working at home , parents home schooling and teacher’s preparing packs .May parents have the strength to encourage their children to work hard during this time .Help children to keep learning and be happy and safe. Please God keep everyone safe and may life go back to normality Very soon, Amen
